There are several opportunities throughout the year for our congregation to build a foundation of faith, develop a relationship with God and understand what it means to be a Christian in the Episcopal Church. Trinity offers many ways for parishioners to grow in their faith.
Our Sunday School program, operating September through May and staffed by parishioners, uses a variety of materials such as stories, videos, plays and purposed-filled crafts to engage the children and enable them to experience God in their lives and hear their faith stories. The attendance averages between five to ten children each Sunday with suitable adult leaders.
Opportunities are presented throughout the year for adult members of the congregation to explore their faith and build their relationship with God and our community that include book groups, focused discussion groups, and special prayer services.
We have a Bible Study group that meets every Monday evening at 6:00pm in the Commons Room of Steeple School located behind the Parish Hall. This group that averages from to 12 people is normally led by a lay-person.
Each week on Tuesday mornings at 9 am in the Rector’s office a Morning Prayer service is held that includes an educational discussion of the lessons assign for that day from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). Normally this small group service is led by a lay-person and the discussion of the biblical passages read is led by Rev. Noble.
All are welcome and please feel comfortable that you can drop in anytime and start the section we are discussing. Members of the group are at varying stages of their faith journey.
